Dr. Samendra Sherchan is an Associate Professor at Tulane University with extensive expertise in environmental science, water quality, and environmental virology. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Arizona and has previously held academic and research positions at Fresno State and the University of Arizona. Dr. Sherchan's research focuses on microbial detection in water systems, wastewater-based epidemiology, and public health protection. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and actively mentors students while serving on academic committees and editorial boards.
